The History of Our Fayetteville Veterinary Clinic:
Where We Came From…

History of Northgate Animal Hospital Photo

Northgate Animal Hospital was opened by Dr. Jack Brown in 1978, bringing to life Dr. Brown’s dream of opening an animal hospital in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. He enjoys many aspects of the veterinary profession, including surgery, diagnostic technology, exotics, and avian medicine.

Dr. Brown’s son, Dr. Dale, joined the family business in 2001, bringing to the practice his interest in animal surgery, orthopedics, and pet dentistry. In 2005, they brought Dr. Jenny into the practice, adding her special interest in dermatology, dentistry, and feline internal medicine.

The original Northgate Animal Hospital was remodeled in 1999, resulting in a state-of-the-art, 7,500-square-foot facility.

Our affiliation with the AAHA and the accreditation process has been one of our highest priorities over the years. As a result, our practice was honored with the 25-year AAHA Service Award, an honor we wear proudly.

In the Community

The Fayetteville community is special to us, having embraced our practice for nearly three decades. As a result, we try to give something back through our work with the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society and the local Animal Control Spay/Neuter Program.
