Pet Medication:
Full-Service Pharmacy for Your Pet’s Medications & Prescriptions

At Northgate Animal Hospital, we operate a full-service in-house pharmacy for your pet needs. You have three options for veterinary prescription refills:

1. In-person—Stop in during regular business hours and request a refill
2. Phone—Call us during regular business hours to order refills
3. Online—Order anytime at Pet Portals for refills delivered to your door

Pet Portals

Pet Portals are private websites that give you secure online access to your pet’s health information. We provide Pet Portals free of charge to all clients who have active email addresses. Note: To refill your prescriptions online, you must have a Pet Portal.

Here are the three ways you can set up your Pet Portal:

• Online—Just click on the “Pet Portal” link and follow instructions
• In person—Visit our hospital and give the receptionist your email address
• Phone—Call us on the phone and give us your email address

Once you provide us with your email address, you’ll receive your password by email. We use your email address as your Pet Portal sign-in name. You have the option of receiving your pet’s service reminders (vaccinations, exams, and so on) by email. We also use your email address to contact you about practice updates and important health news, such as information about West Nile Virus.

If you’d prefer not to receive emails from us, you can use your Pet Portal to change your email preferences. You will still be able to use your Pet Portal even if you choose not to receive emails from us. We do not sell our mailing list. We do not disclose your personal information.
